President & COO, Fraser MacCorquodale discusses why he is excited to explore Kyushu
Kyushu gets me excited because of the pedigree of deposits. You always want to see if the search base has been exhausted and it hasn't been. Exploration around the world is generally in the top 100m but gold deposits are just not restricted to 100m. The system could be bigger and when you start exploring deeper it opens up the whole search base. And in Kyushu, that's hasn't been done.

President & COO, Fraser MacCorquodale explains the prospectivity of Kyushu North
It's in the shadow of the headframe of the Taio Mine, which produced at just over 1,000,000oz. I like that area because you've got historic mines, but also along the corridor to the northeast of where we're exploring, there's a lot of outcropping veins and sinters. There are signatures of another epithermal district that has not been explored.
